Saturday night jazz on the Lake @ Montelago. Any thoughts??

Searching Tripadvisor and I found this....

https://www.montelagovillage.com/the-village-at-lake-las-vegas/events/saturday-night-jazz-on-the-lake

I'm wondering if anyone has ever visited the Monte Lago for thier Sat night jazz? if so...any thoughts??
Nope, never have. Years back when Monte Lago opened, I went out to
play and check the new joint out...it was new, so-so gaming, but the
location was what I remember most.

The shops, the lake, were a great change from Strip and all it's noise...
(it's very quiet out there, lol)
AND...(think Carl Sagan)...at night, billions and billions of stars filled the sky.
You're far enough away from town to really notice the dark.
You can see town off in the distance, but the sky is just amazing at night out there.

Now, I haven't been out since that, and some things may have changed.
Monte Lago is open again, the Ritz has been replaced and I have no idea how the
shops are doing but...a little gaming, some dinner, the lake and the JAZZ would make
for a great evening of...'change of pace'.
Thanks for the link, Champster. I might check it out when I'm out there. I googled the guy who is playing the weekend I'm there, and his top results were of him singing Let's Stay Together. While I love Al Green's music, I guess I won't go out there expecting to hear jazz.

I guess a lot of it depends on what you call jazz. Most of the time, the jazz events I've seen in LV have been smooth jazz. My tastes in jazz run more to Coltrane and Wynton Marsalis, not to smooth jazz.

Depending on when you're there, the Parks and Rec department puts on some concerts in the amphitheater at the Government Center (off Bonneville) on Saturday evenings. They're also free.

Thanks again for the link. If I end up renting a car, I'll probably head out. If it's not to my liking, I'm only out a little time and a little gas.
Thanks Gregrio and Mckenztf for the feedback. Looks like it's worth the ride during my week in Vegas!
