Saw Garth Brooks

My husband got me tickets to see Garth Brooks for Christmas and we went last weekend. I was a little leary due to the 250.00 price tag but I am soooo glad we went. It was a great show. My husband is not really a country music fan and I wasn't sure he would enjoy the show. After it was over when we were waiting to leave the theatre he turned to me and said I would see that again. I think he summed it up best when he said Garth is an entertainer not just a country singer. We were in the 10th row center and the seats were perfect. I know 250.00 is alot but especially if you are a Garth Brooks fan it was totally worth it and if you aren't a fan I think you will also enjoy it. He covered music from the 60's to the 90's. Thought I would post this for anyone that is hanging on the fence about whether to spend that much on a show. We really enjoyed it.
Thanks so much for your take. I'm not big into country music but I do enjoy it. Have been thinking about Garth because I think he's one of those entertainers that if you have a chance to see him, you should.
$250 is so ridiculously steep, however. I paid that for Stevie Wonder for NYE and it was worth every penny but I'm still on the fence about Garth. I'm thinking if I get a very nice jackpot in AC between now and my August trip I'll splurge on a ticket.
You should try and go...yeah, it's a lot of money but you win
that in a single session so...I really enjoyed him. He covers a lot more
than just his music.
You can handle it, you did for Stevie and me on New Years, course...
I never saw you once during the night!
You 'n Stevie, you 'n Stevie, you 'n Stevie...ALL NIGHT LONG, you 'n Stevie.
Yes, I think I might!

I've seen more than 200 concerts in my life. Garth at Encore was top 5. 'Nuff said...

Bushman
are all of the seats good or is there a area that you would be better to sit in than any other.
I don't know that there are any bad seats since the theatre is not that big. I wanted the center and close up if we were going to pay that much. (I'm cheap though) The center section is great. They do presale seats if you sign up on line but the presale seats were all over in the side sections. The seats did not sell out immediately like they did when they were 125.00 but they still go pretty fast. I logged in and got ours about 1/2 hour after they went on sale.
