SHOW REVIEW- Jay Bolan Acoustic Retro Rock Show

SHOW REVIEW- Jay Bolan Acoustic Retro Rock Show
Wow. The Four Queens is sitting on a goldmine. My Fiancée and I saw the show on June 20th, and were absolutely blown away. The Jay Bolan Acoustic Retro Rock Show is an incredible musical journey. The show, in its wonderful simplicity, features one man and his guitars. The guitars are definitive and pure, and the man, Jay Bolan, is steeped in everything that is Classic Rock music. Jay takes his audience on a personal journey of rock music’s greatest eras – the 60s through the early 80s. His show includes video clips that enhance the sounds of an amazing and distinctive voice combined with six strings of depth and timelessness. Jay creates an atmosphere of genuine intimacy, taking requests and engaging the audience throughout his performance. With an audience-friendly stage flanked by heavy velvet drapery and a full bar, the venue is sexy and cool. We danced to his music, singing along with songs that were taken from the soundtrack of our lives, forgetting the rest of the audience was even there. What an outstanding evening. We did not want it to end.
Just printed out MRB online coupon for use next week thanks to your inspirational review.

Per the 4Q's website - the show runs Sun-Wed @ 9PM. Tickets are only available through July 18th.

Thanks 'westie'...I have an opening on a Monday in September
I'm still looking to fill...Jay's Show sounds interesting if he's still there.
Thanks again, Chet. You were right. We really did enjoy it. He has tremendous talent, and being able to see the show (and participate) in such an intimate venue was a real plus. He really enjoys audience interaction and winds up taking numerous requests. (The only negative was a rude lady who bought three kids to the show [9:00p.m. start] - two of the kids were under eight years old. they were not interested and talked throughout the performance despite being told to be quiet - mom was oblivious to the distraction...Vegas...Downtown...night shows...kids...DUMB!!!)
Bob
Glad you enjoyed the show Bob!!

Shame about the clueless lady...
Why would anyone bring kids to a downtown Vegas Classic Rock venue? Circus Circus is just up the Strip... Take them there.
Chet
Tickets now available through 8/31.
We went 5th August. Great show, Jay is like a human Juke Box - we called out the songs we wanted to hear and he played them. He is a very talented guitarist with a great voice. Check out his bio here - https://jaybolan.com/
There were only around 24 people attended the show. Must be very disheartening for him.
I met him the night before the show and we chatted. He is hoping that the show will run all year, but he needs the numbers up.
Seating - it's a very small room with maitre d' seating - so you can pretty much sit where you choose.
The box office gives 2 for 1 if you ask.
