We saw these shows during our recent trip:

Lion King--- We first saw the Lion King in NY, so this was our second time. Both productions are similar.
I really like this Musical. It would seem to be for kids and families, but I would say that it works for adults too.
Great Music. Predictable, but nevertheless, an inspiring plot. Yes, we are all born into the Circle of Life, the rhythms of birth, life, death and renewal are all around us. I loved it.

Le Reve---I liked the intimacy of the theatre. Hardly a bad seat in the house. Amazing performances by all the cast. Plot was a little fuzzy to me other than the girl was having a dream. But it didn't matter much. It was enjoyable to watch. Great lighting and a whole lot of cool splashing! Highly recommend.

Jubilee---our third time. A little corny, but not too bad. Plenty of Americana including hits from times past. A Titantic skit. I was impressed on the high values of the physical production. Also a skit on Samson & Delilah.

Classic Vegas! Worth seeing for this reason alone, but much more commends it.

Elegant costumes. All those bare breasts don't hurt either.

P.S. I saw a lot of Japanese tourists, and I wondered if they really understood the source of certain numbers. I assume they mostly don't know the story of Samson & Delilah since it's from the Bible. And did they know about the song "I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy"? We Americans hardly know the meaning of that song! Maybe all this doesn't matter?
