Shows on our Recent Trip

During our 5 night stay we saw - listed in our "favorites" order

Jersey Boys - Paris
Jubilee - Ballys
Legends in Concert - Harrahs
Anthony Cools - Paris
Beatles Love - Mirage

Jersey Boys - wonderful...highly recommend.

Jubiliee...always phenomenal...must be the 8th or 9th time we've seen this show (although it's been several years). new costumes are amazing. Performances are really good. I love the costumes - feathers and rhinestones and lovely young ladies who are so graceful and talented. The entertainers between acts are very good as well. This is VEGAS to me. I'm really glad that Bally's continues to support this show. If you go to Vegas you should see this show. I LOVE this show.

Legends in Concert...always top quality performaners. I heard on this forum the contract was not being renewed at Harrahs. Too bad. it's a great way to spend 2 hours in Vegas and be completely entertained.

Anthony Cools...i give this a grade C. I would go again only if I volunteer to go on stage so that I would know for sure if the hypnosis works. I guess I'm just a 'doubting Thomas". But he's funny.

Love - it's a good show - a Cirque show with lots of music, acrobats, dances, performers - constant motion. Had seen it before but had 2 free tickets. Got my hands slapped for texting during the show. love the popcorn!
Thanks for the reviews. Saw Jersey Boys with DBueler back in August when they were Diamond Tix. Was a serious score and agree a great show.

Saw Jubilee once, I think at least 10 years ago. Didn't adore it and I think I may have dozed off but agree it is really the only show like that left in Vegas and is so classic. I am planning to see it again later this month using Diamond tix. I've seen Legends a couple of times before but also want to check them out again this month as the show won't be at IP much longer.
Legends has moved...its now at Harrah's. Hope you enjoy your trip. look forward to your reviews on your shows.
I tried to get Jersey Boys tickets with Diamond offer...no way...had to buy them.

Yeah, the Jersey Boys deal was for I think just a couple of weeks in late August. The face value of our tickets was $160+ a piece and the Paris ticket person said people were paying that amount for them so I was especially pumped. I believe, however, Paris was soon going to be LOWERING the price of the tickets.
My jersey boys tickets were $155 plus tax and whatever else fees that charge x 2!!!
and were NOT the most expensive seats. But were very very good seats on the end of a row.

the theatre was full...not sold out...several seats in the back area...and I assume those ppl got moved free to better seats. but that's ok. I'm glad for them.
