Superstars of Magic

Superstars of Magic just started a 13 week engagement at the Plaza downtown. Tickets are $40, $50 & $60 each plus plus plus. Living Social has 2 for $40. 2 Preferred for $48. all in. Just bought mine 5 minutes ago.

It is a good show!

Hmmm - that didn't last. We were going to go this weekend but just received this email -

Tickets for that show were listed at $20 when they performed at the Vegas Club but you could get them for half that at the box office if you waited 30 minutes before show time.

I would say for $10 it was a good show. I sure as hell wouldn't pay $40. There is absolutely nothing original in the performance: woman in box gets cut in half, he pulls a bird out of his hat, disappearing item in a box...and a whole host of other tricks you can see at any amateur magic show

The performers are entertaining and they clearly enjoy their work. Their love for the show and each other is contagious and makes you enjoy the experience...but by no means should you expect to be "wowed" by anything Steven Best and Cassandra are doing on stage.

I read a review by Las Vegas Review Journal, and it essentially said the show was outdated and boring.
