Ticketmaster

I need to vent.Even when buying show ticket even direct.They are forwarded to Ticketmaster.This past week in San Francisco Bay Area.I got a promo for Air Supply.Sent from Ticketmaster.I logged on put promo code in code option.Rejected several times.Unable to get purchase support.Finally just made purchase.Then linked to fan support.They told be I placed promo wrong section.Because I made purchase can't be adjusted.I also put a review complaint with BBB with no feedback from Ticketmaster.I did go last night to see show.I enjoyed the proformace.Ticketmaster just pisses me off.

That's terrible, Patricia.  Hope you get some relief, at least some feedback.  Looks like Ticketmaster (Live Nation) is facing some class action lawsuits anyway, overpricing etc.  You might want to look into it.

Yes Lynn.Why are they allowed to manopolize the ticket sales market?

In Phoenix you get charged a ticketmaster fee even if you buy the tickets directly at the stadium ticket office

I think it is that way no matter how/where you buy the ticket, which makes it sooo wrong,  Talk about a monopoly!  IMHO.

What is annoying is that the DBacks still employ people who handle the transaction; so what is Ticketmaster doing to earn the fee?

When I go to a spring training game in Az, I hand the nice person behind the window money and the nice person then hands me actual tickets.

MLB no longer accepts cash at games.  If you don't have a credit card there are debit machines where you can get a debit card..

  The rip-off additional "fees" are the main reason I do not go to shows. The ticket prices are outrageous enough, but paying the leeches and taxes are just plain robbery.
