I'm not that familiar with all of the acts listed, but I find it hard to believe Liberace was placed ahead of Elvis.

Nice article. Can't say I can agree with a few names being on the all-time list. Garth?? He is a good singer but too high on the list for me and Carrot Top really? Yes Liberace has to be placed above Elvis on the list. He is 100% Vegas while Elvis is country wide.
Elvis NO. 1 no doubt, Carrot Top is awesome, I would watch him over Penn or Frank Marino and a few others on the list.

Great article. Turns out I have seen 12 of the 25 in Vegas: Celine, Wayne Newton, Siegfried & Roy, Danny Gans, Penn & Teller, Frank Marino, Tom Jones, Garth, Don Rickles, David Copperfield, Charo, Jerry Lewis.
Didn't Sinatra play as a solo act?
I can remember in 1971 founding out that Wayne Newton was making 25k per week headlining in Vegas.
I though that was all the money in the world back then. I thinks he still lives in the same house that he bought in 1976. A few blocks from the strip...
