Viva ELVIS,

Hi all, just wondering has anyone seen the Vivs Elvis show,
I would only see the Elvis show if someone put a gun to my head and gave me a choice of the announced Michael Jackson show or Viva Elvis and I knew for a fact the gun was loaded and fully operational
Hey there 'grummie', Greg here...
Check the 'search' up top. Type viva elvis in the seach phrase...
there's lots of stuff.
I saw it. I enjoyed it but I wouldn't go and see it again, as I do with LOVE, Ka and Mystere

I saw two of the preview Shows when it opened and wasn't very impressed.
The HAVE made quite a few changes (I've heard...) so...
I'm seeing it again in a couple weeks...we will see what we will see.
We'll be watching for your review Greg. We just booked tickets for Aug. Thought the in-laws would enjoy this more then Love which we've seen 5-6 times with another in August also. They're in there upper 70's and always fans of Elvis. Tickets were only 55 so hopefully the improvements were made. Jon

There is nothing wrong with the show and I believe that you will all enjoy it.
But it is the kind of show that once you have seen it - you have seen it - no need to go back.
Whereas - some of the other Cirque shows have so many layers to them that there is always a reason to go back. But Elvis is good show - and you got the right price on the tickets! Enjoy.

I had read so many negative reviews that I was reluctant to go plus the fact that Elvis was just a little before my time so I wasn't a big fan. But - I really enjoyed the show. It actually made me appreciate what an amazing talent he really was and also made me a little sad. I think he was just a country boy who got caught up in a storm he could not control. I think he was basically a very decent and caring person. I am not sure why the reviews have been negative.
