6/15 World Cup

6/15 World Cup 9-2-2 ; +9.8 Slovakia (-1) (-112) New Zealand/Slovakia UN 2' (-140) The Kiwis are one of the weakest teams in the field. Slovakia doesn't press the action offensively and New Zealand will crowd the back line with an extra man and try to play it conservative. Basically trying to slightly hedge here. I think this ends up 2-0, or at least 1-0. Ivory Coast/Portugal DRAW (+220) Didier Drogba (Chelsea), the EPL Golden Boot winner, likely won't play unless he's a sub late in the game. He was in a cast this morning. However, I think they step up in his absence against a talented Portugal team that struggles to score goals. These two teams have sure wins against North Korea coming up. Brazil is a virtual LOCK to take one of the Group H spots in the Round of 16. So it will come down to these two and how they play against Brazil respectively. Brazil/North Korea UN 3 (-115) Brazil can name the score here against the worst team in the World Cup. However, they still have Portugal and Ivory Coast and may be looking ahead and be a little sloppy. N Korea can't take advantage of said sloppiness though.
Late goals both worked against me today. New Zealand late goal in stoppage time cost me a push, North Korea's late goal in 88th minute costs me a win. 2-1-1 (+2.1) today.
Could have been a huge day. Plus money to end the day. Thank you.
Talk about some painful late goals. I put a bunch on both games not having both teams score a goal. Layed 150 in NZ and 175 in Brazil. Probably dumb bets since I know little about soccer. Also had exact score bets of Bz 2-0 and Slv 1-0. Any thoughts Shooter??

I personally expected a 2-0 final in the Brazil game. The Slovakia one was a little harder to predict. I typically don't lay any more than -150 on anything in soccer. In fact, on 3-way betting (Win, Lose or Draw), I rarely, if ever, take a team that is minus money. I'd rather lay a goal and get plus money.
