Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and Bob Hope Classic
European Tour senior referee Andy McFee said Friday that a viewer e-mailed to say Harrington replaced his ball on the green and, as he took the coin away, his hand moved the ball. Since the ball was not replaced, Harrington incurred a two-stroke penalty not reflected on his scorecard.
Correct, he signed fine... just bumped his ball slightly, "3dimples". Which is like a cm. Crazy lucky break.
Confused
Top 70+ ties like normal...but after 72 holes.
I'm showing a tee time for Sabbatini today and no mention of a cut??
I'm showing a tee time for Sabbatini today and no mention of a cut??
The cut, as ALF said, is after 72 holes, so after today's round. Projected cut right now is at -7, but that is obviously gunna change. Love those triple bogeys from Sabbatini though.
D'oh!! Missed that one sorry. Was thinking 54 holes so that there would still be two rounds left. Crazy tourney what with only one round after the cut.

Alf, looks like a double "W" @ the Bob Hope Classic......
Nice work in the Bobby Hope Alf
Thank you Padraig for that miracle or this could have been a disaster with the Euro guys... Good job on the Americans.
The Paddy incident brings up a hypothetical question: Player A misses cut; Player B makes cut but then gets DQ'ed in last round. My assumption would be Player B wins in a match up bet - would that be the case? Ever seen it happen?
Bets are most holes played so the you are correct that B would win. Not sure what would happen though if both missed cut and player with the lower score was DQ'd. I assume the DQ'd player would lose.
Nice job Alf with the golf and the UFC!!
