Adamek vs Arreola

Adamek vs Arreola In what could be a very interesting fight. "Goral" Adamek the former Light Heavyweight, and CruiserWeight champion is taking on Chris "The Nightmare" Arreola April 24th in California in a Heavyweight fight. I recently read that Adamek has put on 47 pounds over the last three years and still will be the smaller man in this fight. Arreola is the faster handed, harder punching, younger, naturally bigger fighter in this contest. Adamek biggest advantage is that he's by far the better boxer. What to expect... Arreola will press the fight early and will attempt to end the fight early. That certainly is a possibility. Adamek has very good movement and will need it to avoid the heavier handed Arreola. I don't think that Arreola gets the job done. He'll most likely win more rounds in the first half of the fight but in the end Adamek will outbox Arreola to a UD. My understanding is that Arreola is in great shape for this fight. Weighting in the high 230s which is rather slim compared to his most recent fight against Minto (260s) Bigger bettors might want to make a larger wager and hedge it with a bet on Arreola to win by KO. Arreola has only once been more then 8 rounds and will not win a decision. The bet -110 to win one Unit on Adamek. GL This fight could easily go either way.

Adamek at 217 lighter then his last fight. Arreola 250.5 while he's lighter then his last fight he's still way out of shape. The weigh in results do nothing but make me more confident that Adamek will win.
any opinion regarding julio vs. angulo? thanks
any opinion regarding julio vs. angulo? thanks
Yeah, Angulo should win easily but at -500 why bother betting it, he isn't that big of a favorite.

I had bet it at -110 and -105 and quoted -110 so we'll use that for wager tracking purposes. The fight.... Adamek, in my opinion clearly won the fight. Arreola wasn't landing much for most of the rounds in the fight. Arreola flat out refuses to get into shape and it is telling in the later part of the fight. The score cards where 117-111, 115-113, and 114-114. The only one that was right was or close to right was the 117-111. Adamek who in many peoples opinion just looks blown up even at 217 gave a boxing lesson to Arreola. Arreola really needs to cut down to 230 and he'd be a much better fighter. He came into camp at 295 and it was telling. Another ugly HW fight that really wasn't all that pleasant to watch but I'll take the money. 54.3 wagered (16.66 units won) Record in recommended fight 15-2.
great call, just about to watch it on hBO
