Agbeko vs Mares (8/13)

Agbeko vs Mares (8/13) This fight is for the Bantamweight tournament championship and for a couple of meaningless belts. This fight was rescheduled after Agbeko had a back issue. Agbeko missed weight after two tries and was slightly over the limit. Originally I thought that Agbeko would have a good chance in this fight, but between the back issue, and the weight issue, I'm on Mares. The line moved hard to Mares over the last few days, and I was tempted to go with Agbeko at the inflated price. I think that insiders had better information on this fight. On paper, this fight is a toss up. They had to know something. This line should have never moved this much BEFORE the weigh in. I'm recommending Mares in this fight 1.9 units to win 1 GL
Nice winner, thanks tru.
I'll take it. A fat envelope will be delivered or was delivered to Mora.
ESPN guy tweeting fight was just blasting Mora. Said he was a joke and he should never get another big fight again. Thanks for the selection Truu.

I'm slow mo ing the fight again looking at the low blows. I'm through the third round. I guess 11 low blows called by the announcers 1 was legit low and Mora was behind the action, one had Agbeko pulling Mares head down which I think did cause the low blow and ALL of the others where on part of the belt line. As Mora said most of the shots where to the belt line and obviously that is what he was calling. I see Mora behind the action on 8 belt line shots and 1 Tarver called a low blow but I didn't see it even in frame by frame.
Agbeko clearly pulled is trunks up at the beginning of the fight. Old school trick. He gets the ruling on the belt line from Mora before the fight and the belt is 3 inches below his belly button. Then watching the fight his belt is 3 inches above his belly button. Yes Mares was warned 3 times to keep them up in the 5th but not one was a nut shot.
Yeah far to many blows that where low and the 2nd KD from a low blow counted as a legit KD. Looks really bad. Not as bad as Bernstein who repeatedly called low shot that where clearly on the belt line low.
Agree with you 100% on the 2nd KD and I had to mute fight because I couldn't stand listening to Bernstein go on and on. No question in my mind that Bernstein had money on fight and not on Mares. He sounded like a losing better in his observations. No doubt a few of Mares shots were south, but so many were on the belt line.
