Atwal vs. Crenshaw at Masters This is another 5 Dimes matchup and would appreciate some commentary. Atwal is -160 over Crenshaw and I haven't bet it.
I don't know Atwal's game either and I didn't see he had ever played this tournament but his rankings have him #132 in the world and he seems to shoot some low scores in the tournament he's played and earns money at this.
Crenshaw was a champion back when I had hair. And has to be the only reason he gets a start here is from a win . I don't think he does that well on the Champions Tour does he?
I looked at last year and he missed the cut and was one of the worst scores. I have no doubt he can shoot a 73 but can't I assume Crensaw is shooting 150 or higher over 2 rounds and missing the cut with 80% certainty?
Atwal is a total wild card but any help here appreciated....he's ranked right next to Davis Love and I know he probably doesn't know the course and perhaps he has allergies to azaleas but shouldn't he be 75% over Crenshaw?
I'm rambling here but Mickelson is 60% right now over other guys that can no doubt win the tournament and beat him and are top players.
Should Atwal be only 63% against a guy here on an invitation?
It is a perfectly valid point that guys like Crenshaw and Weir have had success here in the past and Weir's case me may even have some game but Crenshaw has to finsh in the bottom 10 of this whole thing with a high degree of certainty.
