Best Bowl Matchups? Always a mix of good and bad bowls. Venue, teams that are excited or
apathetic or just interesting clashing of styles. Which bowl match-ups
are the most intriguing this year? Most like the big bowls but there are
always a few good ones early in the schedule. The first one looks decent.
Col St/Wash St features two teams that are going to be happy to
be there. Col St had gone 4 years since their last bowl appearance
and Wash St, who from 2008-2010 had 1 win each season vs Div 1
schools, is in a bowl for the first time since 2003. They have quality
wins vs USC, Arizona and Utah. Col St has no wins that I would
consider quality. They beat CalPoly, UTEP, Wyoming, Hawaii, Nevada,
New Mex and Air Force. Wash can be had at -3. I am looking to bet them
on the money line when those numbers go up.
