Bogere vs. Beltran (5/13)

Bogere vs. Beltran (5/13) I've looking at this fight off and on all day. My guys like the over play in the fight but the line has moved a bit. Bogere is the house fighter in this fight and has a huge speed advantage. Beltran often spars with Pacquiao and is another one of those "veteran" Mexican fighters. Bogere is a big favorite in this fight and I think its a farce. He's the much smaller man in this fight and as we've seen A LOT of untested/undefeated young guns lose this year. Bogere should win this fight on movement but he's never been in the ring with a real fighter. His record is filled with a bunch of tomato cans. Beltran isn't anything special but he certainly isn't a can. I'm taking a swing on Beltran in this fight at a very good plus number. Hopefully Beltran's experience will make Bogere wilt. .5 units on Beltran at +365 with a straddle bet of 1.4 units on the over 5.5 rounds. GL

The over covered as the fight went the entire distance. Bogere won the fight on two of the judges score cards 96-94. I thought the line was bad even though the favorite won. Beltran rocked Bogere in the 8th, Bogere managed to complete the takedown of Beltran. Of course the doddering fool Robert Byrd didn't call it a Knockdown. He needs to retire. We still made money so all is well.
