Cantor cracks down on cell phones The following notice is up on screens at the Palms, and, I assume, all Cantor books.
"We ask you to please refrain from using personal communication devices (including, without limitation, cell phones) for gaming related communications.
"Management prohibits the use of personal communication devices on the the [sic] property to transmit or relay wagering information, line information, point spreads, wagers, and other gaming related information (collectively 'gaming information').
"Management reserves the right to remove anyone from the property who, in management's sole discretion, judgement [sic] or opinion, is using a personal communication device to transmit or relay gaming information."
Not sure if it's to protect the Cantor line, a reaction to layoff problems (a la the Colbert thing last year), or just a way to get rid of some of the guys that have been hanging around there forever.
