Cantorgaming.com, check it out. Very impressisve what Cantor is doing in this business. Further MY PROJECTION 7/1/2014 Cantor Gaming released record sports gaming results based on their recently approved online sports gaming for Nevada residents. Cantor's great success in the Las Vegas Valley was even more impressive considering the continued Downturn of the Vegas Strip properties, most specifically the recent Bankruptcy filing of MGM properties. What was interesting about Cantor's results is that their recently approved online book 'held' only a 1.8% profit margin on the total amount wagered, however, the volume bet was 10+ times higher than that booked by any other competitor in town. When asked about any negatives of the new program Lee Amitis and Mike Colbert both agreed that the only negative was that they no longer got to see the wise guys on a daily basis in their establishment, as they were now all wagering from the comforts of their homes in Nevada. Nevada lawmakers were thrilled with some new found revenue, however, this only made a dent in the projected 700 million budget shortfall, the 4th straight shortfall that required drastic cuts. On another postitive note, Harrah's reported that its recently approved live poker wagering WSOP.com, had reported earnings 5x what was expected in its first year, and sign ups running at a continued high rate. Gary Loveman, when asked about the success of the newly approved online betting in Nevada on sports and poker, said "Let's face it. America is a nation of couch potatoes. We want to sit on our sofas, not wear heels, and not walk if we don't need to. Online gaming IS the way to go". AD: Aria room rates NOW available for $69/night!!
Call we discout for you at 1-800-chptr11 for your room!
LOL. It really just does not fit on the strip. It is a BIG black eye, dead center of once was a stylish street.
LOL. It really just does not fit on the strip. It is a BIG black eye, dead center of once was a stylish street.
I have heard the rooms are very nice. But, IMO, overall, the City Center is the second biggest development mistake made on the Strip behind the previous reincarnation of the Aladdin. If I'm on the Strip in 110 degree weather, I am not walking up all of those stairs or that distance to get to an overly subdued casino. Even if I didn't have to walk, I prefer a casino with more energy. Don't like the aroma, don't like the color scheme. But, the architecture is pretty damn impressive! As is the art work.
What the heck does it smell like, foul scented candles or something?

There was an article in the RJ or the Sun that talked about the guy who is consulting with casinos regarding the overall aroma in the building. He also consulted with the M Resort. If you go in the east side door of the M where you take the escalator up to the restaurants, you will definitely smell the aroma. It is the same one at City Center. At either property, I am not able to detect it everywhere.
