I would like to counter the spirit of the attempted direction of this thread with something useful. I think Fezzik is Fantastic, and not to sound gay, but the guy has impacted my life for the positive, and I really appreciate him taking the time, and recognizing that this was a useful concept. He had to have strong vision to see it through and I appreciate it because I didn't have a clue what the first step, second step, the direction one should go to get really good. I was literally searching and searching for months for a resource just like this. Here you get the benefit to sit back and learn, interact, or anything in between. Fezzik says he wants to make this the best product of its kind out there, I say there's already nothing even close. He doesn't really owe us anything, so look at it as a favor, not worth the ration of shit about things like handpicking records -- newsflash Ice Tea -- Life is one big round of handpicking records, some of us just have better ones from which to choose. This is a great resource, with or without the plays...I'm not sure, but I don't really think it is a picks site (comedy).
good post hardrock. I'm being serious that I do like the fez twitter account. Get to see a different side to him.
But it's perfectly reasonable not to agree with 100% of what he says. This thread is more to start conversation on what he posts at Twitter, cause a lot of it is very intersting and worth more discussion.
I do like this site. my experience has been more interesting. Seeing Fez kick ass in the hilton contest in 2008, I thought he was a real sharp and I'd make solid $ following his plays especially NFL. He is good, don't get me wrong, but is not as good as what I initially thought. Maybe i was just hoping 4 too much. His NFL stuff the last 2 years has been breakeven/average type stuff, and I'm hoping he crushes it next year. His nba stuff this year has been average until about 3 weeks ago when he's been on a massive roll...
I guess I now understand what fez says that its so hard to beat 55%, mainly because its so hard for him to do. That said, he does play a ton of games which makes it harder. And the tough part, unlike many handicappers i've seen, is Fez puts his own bankroll and bets first and gives us leftovers in some cases. Whereas some other cappers see a great line and give it out to clients when they see it. Fez will bet that line, move it and by the time we can bet it, it's moved. Same thing he criticizes RAS for.
The other thing you are saying I really wasn't thinking I'd find here, and that is "learning from Fez how to win". I never thought he'd share his closest held secrets on how to win. And he hasn't. So i don't understand what you mean when you say that you've learned: "what the first step, second step, the direction one should go to get really good" When has he shared: hard rock, this is what you should look for when you bet the NFL. Here's the steps to do to find some value in a line? Never. He shares random strategy in the NBA let's say, and he has gotten better IMO and sharing more stuff lately with NBA, but my question is:
will it continue for NFL? Because that's pretty much when he retreats into a shell and shares a few plays here and there late in the week (as in Saturday night) and little to no analysis. He can be really good in NFL, so that's where I'd like to see more sharing.
i pay for this site not cause the money is nothing to me, because i am NOT a big bankroll guy. I wanted to find a site for really sharp winning plays that would net me profit. But its "not a picks site". Yet the past records on our left is what is used to promote the site, so that's a bit misleading. The most I think i get out of the ste is feeling connected to what the top guys in the industry think. Which is good and which I like.
Now, back on topic...
"Welll, Pinny no good for US (but I agree) and DOJ hammering on Bookmaker as I type this......and HUGE downgrade past this."
You don't like CRIS/5Dimes? These are 2 of my favorites
"Went over the 100 HIlton NFL GOYS, and only found 3 bets (lines off).HIlton has some damn sharp Oddsmakers...wish Harrah's tried to do this!"
Why don't you think any offshore will do it? CRIS is usually at the forefront of this type of thing for NFL, no?
