Crowne Plaza Invitational @ Colonial Colonial is the 4th easiest PGA Tour course that they play, at a par 70 and 7,054 yards it is short by Tour standards and not quite an Executive Course as our good buddy the Dude has eluded to. LOL.
Paul Casey -130 vs Ian Poulter
Poulty has a left knee issue. He keeps saying it is fine, yet I notice he cannot completely transfer his weight. The evidence is two missed cuts in a row at the Players and LW at the BMW in Wentworth, UK. Casey played very well last week T17 and we believe he is rounding into form as the next major gets closer.
Kenny Perry -105 vs Steve Stricker
Stricker is coming off a layoff due to shoulder injury. He has mentioned if he was not the Defending Champion he would not tee it up in this event! A very revealing statement and I believe it to be true. Our LVASports member Members has an excellent write up on Stricker that you should check out. Also, on Golf Central he said his game is very rusty.
KP is a two time champion of this event on this golf course and his last three starts have gotten better progressively T57, T22 and LW a T16 at the HP Byron Nelson Championship.
I also played Tim Clark against Stricker but he is now -160 and I would not play it at that price.
