$9.99 per month for the 2-minute delay service is a great deal.
The big negative is that it is pretty much for iPhones only so the
screen view is cramped and limited. You use the scroll feature
to cycle through the books and scan lines. All the info you get
for $99 on the desktop Express service is pretty much there, it's
just a lot harder to make it work on the iPhone screen. The app
also works on the iPad but the Zoom feature is not functional
so you get to see 4 books at a time max and have to scroll to
see others. If they allowed you to reduce the font size it would
be an absolute winner on the iPad but my guess is this is intentional.
They offer a different iPad service at desktop rates.
For $49.99 per month you get the real-time odds on the iphone,
a reduction of 90% vs the desktop price. Again, the functionality
is extremely limited due to the screen size. Don Best almost hit
a home run here with these new products but slipped rounding third
when they intentionally or unintentionally left the zoom feature off.
Will continue to experiment with it and see if it becomes easier to use
with time. SportsOptions is still my choice for the iPad. For now.
