Early PGA Championship matchups

Sorry Alf somehow I must have saw "Brian Davis WON in Reno" instead of "WAS in Reno". Luke does seem like he fits this course. I won't look to play either side of that. Lee is working with the same coach that worked with Clarke I think now too regarding his mind approach. Interesting Riyo now +150 at Bet Cris and +138 at Pinnacle. I certainly won't add to it. But Dude makes a great point regarding the green becoming firmer. And perhaps the information I was reading relied too much on his "ball flight" and not enough on his putting skills. Fantasy leaguers have a punch----and Dude counter punch. It is a fair point regarding fantasy sports and I ask that myself but actually these guys do compete and I remember my days in baseball fantasy leagues or NHL regular season and playoff drafts, I know for a fact I really scoured the box scores/summaries when I was in that. And I wasn't a bettor at all back then. But I felt my "compete" level was pretty high as I tried to make deals to improve my team and follow things so I had up to date information in baseball. They won't bet the same money I do on a daily basis of course but I really think fantasy leaguers are going had it pretty hard so they come up with some good information. I think the challenge is putting actionable bets to the information from translating commentary into odds.
add for tourney. 7035) Steve Marino +100 over Ryan Palmer, 1% play GL
Keegan Bradley shoots a solid 70 in round one and we lose a bet, today shoots the best round in the field a 64 and beats Brian Davis by 9 shots, pretty sure we had the right side, but this is the exact reason why round by round wagers are so much tougher to beat compared to tournament matchups.......cripes!
ALL 3RD ROUND 7302) Manny Manassero +105 over Romero. 0.5% play 7303) B. Haas over -110 Robbie Allenby, 0.5% play 7309) Luke duke Donald -120 over Phillip T. Mickelson, 0.5% play 7315) Robbie Karlsson +123 over Sergio "wiggle butt" Garcia, 0.35% play 7328) Simon "my daddy is a bookie" Dyson +100 over David Love 3rd, 0.35% play 7332) Jerome Kelly +123 over Johnny "downtown" Vegas, 0.35% play. Good Luck

Is fading Tiger going to be automatic? Have to figure they'll adjust the line considerably, as he's nothing like the player he used to be. Still, he's got the name, so he'll continue to be underpriced - IMO.

3rd Round cont'd 7340. DA. Points -105 over Jayson "nationwide" Dufner, 0.35% play
Some ups and downs for me so far. I felt Alf's pain with Keegan Bradley. I really thought about just playing that matchup again in the second round. If we were an offence it was a good play but poor execution I guess. Here was good advice from the Dude:I would pass on Ryo. Woes me. Freddie Jac was terrible right out of the gate as well to boot. But YE Yang and Anders Romero helped me out and Alf nailed a few but I had less on them. Looking at 3rd round matchups, 5 Dimes has a set near the bottom of its menu and I don't want to get too carried away betting big dogs but I do think there is value on a few of them. One will be uncomfortable with a few of these plays and I only bet one of them but I'm sure a few others may not be bad. I took Brandt Jobe +200 today against Steve Stricker. Stricker is one of my favourite golfers out there and until this bet I was hoping he would win but these odds got to be too high especially on Jobe who has not only played very well the first 2 rounds here but has had a solid season so far. He might be due for an 82 but I guess I'm hoping not. The 30 cent juice just kills so many of these plays I'm sure. For instance Bradley is -144 and Dufner is +114. Vegas is +176 vs. Scott who is -230 in that one. I didn't bet this one. Jerry Kelly is +244 vs. Westwood at -310. I didn't bet this one either but for those with more knowledge of what a fair line should be in these things I find it hard to believe one could actually bet Westwood here and consider this an attractive price. Perhaps Kelly isn't either but he's got to be close. One other bet I made is a small bet on Scott Piercy at +125 against Davis Love. I had a chance to see Piercy in Reno last weekend and he's red hot. He ended up winning the tournament shooting 8 birdies in a row (8 or 9 I think) in the 3rd round and playing tough in the last few holes on Sunday to maintain and take back the lead. His last putt to win the tournament was no gimme and he was in that position because of a poor 1st putt he made which actually made it more impressive when he made the putt to win since he'd never won on tour and I guess I figured he might blow it the way he handled the first putt. I would have bet more than a small bet (all my bets are small in golf to tell you the truth) but I have to factor in he might be a little worn down from all of this excitement and this is Davis Love not Josh Teater.

Good Luck
A PISS-POOR JOB....OF WEIGHTING YOUR PLAYS! I wish these had the confidence of last week's picks. Understandable though, as Alf said, round by round wagers are very tough. Great job, Dude!

Great job, Dude!
I feel you. Yes round by round is such a small time frame and anything can happen in 18 holes.
