English Premier League - Sunderland/Blackburn under 2.5 goals -1.40

English Premier League - Sunderland/Blackburn under 2.5 goals -1.40 After a two week International break, The English Premier League resumed this weekend with the final match up putting two offensively challenged teams against each other. Blackburn Rovers are regarded as one of the more physical sides in the EPL, while Sunderland has struggled on the road to find the net. The biggest key of the match and why I love the total is English International Star Darren Bent is questionable for this match. Sunderland plays a 4-5-1 conservative formation, leaving Bent up front on his own to create scoring opportunities. With his health in question, Sunderland's offense will struggle as this match has the makings of a classic 1-0 scoreline or even a scoreless draw. Sunderland has had clean sheets against prolific Manchester City and Manchester United, while only giving up a fluke goal to Arsenal in a 1-1 draw. Blackburn has no where near the offensive prowess and Belgium International goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has been very solid behind the net this season. Sam Allyrdyce has already show us his conservative and physical side of managing and I expect little to change in this matchup... Play under 2.5 goals as I suspect Sunderland Coach Steve Bruce will be very cautious with his star striker Darren Bent and we will see a very slow and conservative game... I was expecting this total to be lower - thats what irks me. Sunderland is an error prone team which would scare me who have struggled this year to get points , just not sure how this game is going to pan out - will prob leave it myself but you made a good point about bent

If you expect it to be lower and it's not, then that is an opportunity...

Yeah but it can also mean I am missing something........and in this case my thinking is to stay away - nevertheless hope you hit it John
Good call John. Easy money.
Yeah but it can also mean I am missing something........and in this case my thinking is to stay away - nevertheless hope you hit it John
You didn't miss anything. These teams were frustratingly pathetic on attack. I have a season win prop on Sunderland and the fact they couldn't score a goal and get three vital points with a man advantage is so frustrating. 5 straight draws and back to back scoreless draws...Ughhh...
Pass the sugar. I rarely bet soccer, but when someone puts up a compelling write up like above... Thanks!
nice one John - dead under.
Good call. Appreciate the write up
