Fez's posted record

IMO, definitely relevant to discuss at LVA
Then deal with it there, not here. How many times must I say it?
Personally, I couldn't care less about "records" ; I'm more interested with the methodologies/math behind making wagers. Having said that, and not trying to add fuel to the fire, but if Fezz is making claims of hitting 55% but is nowhere close to that clip, then discussing the situation at LVA is very relevant.
I'm not real sure what everyone was expecting on this site. Obviously, we all wanted Fez to post picks and hit about 90%. It didn't happen that way. But I have definitely been happy with my investment. I used to think that I knew a lot about betting on sports until I joined this site. I was wrong. I haven't learned a hell of a lot from this site specifically, but I have learned how to learn. I listen to the Shrink's show every week. Unfortunately, I got on the bandwagon late in the year when his picks weren't doing so well. But listening for an hour a week to intelligent people talking about sports wagering isn't something I have access to in my back yard. Before, if I heard that some guy named "the shrink" was picking games, I would have lumped him in with the touts that get on TV and yell at me telling me about their double diamond gow's, gom's, and goy's. Next week, Alan Boston is going to be on the show. If you like to bet sports, what could possibly be better than listening to him talk about college basketball for an hour? The information on which internet books to use and which to avoid is probably worth $25 a month by itself. Also, I have learned who to listen to, such as Helmut, Edward from RAS, and Dr. Bob. And I'm not promoting these guys and I don't want to hear about their records. They have something that I desire; sports gambling knowledge. The one nugget that I heard that I feel will benefit me the most was on The Shrink's show a couple of months ago. An executive from a sports book in Costa Rica was talking about betting baseball. He said that they use a twenty cent line because all of the squares bet the favorites and the favorite usually wins. He went on to say that most professional sports gamblers stay away from betting baseball because it's just too hard to win. That, my friends, was worth the $25 a month ten-fold until the end of time. I just wish I knew that 3 or 4 years ago.
Sorry, but no. I don't care what Fezzik does there, in his car, at the Trop, or wherever. These are people at other sites that don't like what we're doing. Their lot in life is to cause us problems. Let them do it in their own cesspools, but I'm not having it here.

The picks are put out and you can do with them as you please. There were no promises made about winning percentages.

Records No time until jan 5, but we are clearly marketing my money talks and Hilton picks. FURTHER, I've told all the last month 'no picks' since I said my best bets are being used in the contests. To ignore those (when we are clearly 'touting' them) is not correct. I have had stones thrown at me since all the 'lemmings' are blindly betting my Hilton stuff.....lol. Has anyone found a way to lose with these?
One of my favorite all-time posts for many reasons.
what is the actual RTP website?
Fezz- just think, if you weren't around, the 5 active members over at RTP would have nothing to talk about. "People LOVE to HATE a winner". I think that's why these jokers are so consumed in trying to find fault in your success. This site isn't just about Fezz's picks. Speaking of picks, how about Shooters college hoops, Lenny's 1st half bets, Old School and his friends? KO, Charlie J, Helmut, The Dude and Lee Sterling, all chiming in with good info? Plus great gambling and betting insight in general. For $25 a month you can get that, or for FREE, you can go over to RTP and view the Heim arguing with Gary Greene- your choice.
what is the actual RTP website?
Seems quite unfair to me to count contest picks (some contest picks) in a record. It would seem to me if someone wants to make a pick from a contest, then post it after the contest deadline at whatever the line is at that point. In my meaningless opinion (since it doesnt matter - I'd still pay the $25), contest picks aren't part of a record unless indicated and posted at an available line. When deciding whether or not to follow Fezziks picks, I certainly would not count his contest results.
Summary 1-Fezz wins betting 2-His picks in this limited sample seem to have not won. (line movement has been stronger than the W/L imo) 3-His contest selections have been very strong and anyone following all of them has done great. 4-No sharp player or Fezz himself would play EVERY one of these contest picks at WA numbers when they are posted. 5- It's easy to pick which games are bettable opinions and which are grabbing contest numbers.. the opinions have obviously done well in these contests too. Counting every contest selection in a W/L would be worse than Vegasinsider grading.. but there has still been quite a bit of value to be had from them.
Winning percentages In my humble opinion, the bottom line is that if someone is hitting in the mid-high 50's range they are ahead of the game and WINNING! "We all wager and handicap the games to WIN more than we LOSE". By the way, that's my own personal quote. Fezzik has clearly shown that is what he does most of the time. Case closed. Next case on the docket!
