Formula 1--Chinese Grand Prix

Formula 1--Chinese Grand Prix I don't think I've seen much on this board regarding these races as I figure Americans follow the stock cars more and I like following the matchups posted here with that regard. I bet Sebastian Vettel to NOT WIN the Chinese Grand Prix. I took +158 and Pinnacle is actually a better number but I did not bet it there as I want to see what experts are doing with this pick to perhaps add to it or cut my bet later. This same bet was about +100 I think for the Australian Grand Prix not sure what it was last week. He has won the first 2 races and he's on the pole again for this race. So I like the odds being much higher than last week and perhaps a sharp bet was to bet him last week. The McLaren team is closer to him than they were in the 1st race and closer I think than even the 2nd race. He gets good starts and is able to stay ahead of the field but Formula 1 does have a few things which encourage passing so if someone can get close I think Vettel could at least give up the lead here. The Red Bull cars of Vettel and Webber have had some issues with their KERS system as well but it hasn't been exposed since they do seem to run so well. He can't win every race I don't think. Won't they come out of a driver's meeting and say "Okay, who is driving into this guy when he leaves pit lane already"? He is pretty darn good and very likable but also quite young. I got everyone else against him tonight. And I do think the line leaves some value IMO that someone else might win this race.
Good call and a fantastic race
It was a great race. I had it on the DVR. Vettel almost still pulled it out. He was on those hard tires probably too long. I'm not surprised it wasn't easy that is for sure but still surprised Hamilton caught him. Helluva pass. Formula 1 driver? Why doesn't this make the best occupation in the world listings at the Barnes & Noble that is what I want to know? Race around in a great car a few days a year all the while travelling the world and making a tonne of money I assume. Lots of very beautiful women in the world but girlfriends and wives of Formula 1 drivers are their own class.
Race around in a great car a few days a year all the while travelling the world and making a tonne of money I assume.
As far as I know, its only the top 8-10 guys that are paid a ton of money. Actually the lower ranked guys, has to pay to get in, in the form of bringing their own sponsors to their teams (it used to be this way, and I think it still might be). Jan Magnussen who now drives in the Le Mans Series in USA, had a brief career in the mid 90´s for Stewart Racing. He came out of his F1 career stuck with a huge debt.
