Gold metal winner Currently, one can get a line of -660 for any other team to win the Gold other then the Swiss. The swiss have to win 3 more games after today to win the Gold. What do you think?

can you estimate what the money line would be for the three swiss games? compare the result for parlaying those three and see whether you can scalp.

If the Swiss beat Belarus it looks like they will play the USA in the Quarters. USA would probably be -200. In the Semi's They might actually be the favorite. (sweden/slovakia/norway) Other side of draw Looks like if Canada beats Germany they will play the Russian's in the Quarters. Winner gets Czech/Finland/Latvia I'd project that either Canada or Russia gets to the final but the other teams aren't terrible. In the final's the swiss, if they beat the USA and the others would probably be facing Canada/Russia. I'd make them -300 agaisnt Canada. Probably -220 against Russia. (though as defending champs they might be -150 against the Russian's) Canada will be a huge betting favorite in the finals. Could get even higher like -450. Remember that the Swiss already lost to USA. So getting past them is doubtful.

I assume you're talking about hockey? -660 is ridiculously strong. It should be more like -6600, if not higher. I would think anyone offering -660 probably accidentally typed the Sweden line instead of the Swiss line.

The US/Swiss line from the previous game was something like US -1000/Swiss +700 to win OT included, so solve by inspection. Switzerland would be at least +1000 against either Canada or Russia.

They probably took their lines down because Switzerland is playing right now. If they actually did offer -660 (and you weren't either misreading the line or accidentally looking at the Sweden line instead), it's almost 100% 5D would have canceled your bet and possibly taken other measures against your account. They are very quick to cut limits and boot winners. Their head of customer service, Tony, is a complete prick who loves to curse at people, so you may well have earned yourself a profanity-laden tirade from him for betting that.

There where only 4 options. You could only bet on the swiss, usa, russia or canada to either win or any other to win.

In that case they probably left off a 0 or mistyped Switzerland instead of Sweden. The latter makes sense because if there were only 4 options, it would make sense they would include the 4 favorites rather than the 3 favorites and Switzerland. In Las Vegas tickets go as written, but there are very, very few offshores that would let an obvious mistake like that stand. Pinnacle, the Greek, etc. would cancel those bets as an "obvious line error."
