Holyfield vs Neilsen (5/7) early
This Nielsen vs Holyfield fight is the biggest freakshow I can remember here in Denmark Its PPV priced at 100$. Its called Legends of the ring, allthough the only place Nielsen ever was a legend was here in Denmark as warm-up for the match, theres another freakshow match between a retired danish soccer star and one of the members of danish pop band Aqua. As you can imagine we dont have that many pro boxing events in Denmark :-) from a sports perspective the value of this match is way below zero. but both boxers and Kalle Sauerland Will be laughing all the way to the bank afterwards.
I managed to get the StreamTorrent set and I actually got to watch. Holyfield looked terrible but Neilsen should never have gotten into the ring again. It was pathetic. I couldn't believe that Holyfield seemed to refuse to get aggressive enough to end the fight. He seemingly could have ended it anywhere from the 2nd round on.
A couple of bumps in the road but Mosley managed to be just cagey enough to make it to the end of the fight. Pacquiao basically shut Mosley out. A big KD in the 3rd round had me nervous but Mosley got out of the round. Then in the 10th Mosley shoved Pacquiao away and Pacquiao went down. Kenny Bayless, who is usually a good referee, called in a Knockdown. The replay clearly showed NO punch landed and the push. I was rather nervous at that point but Mosley hung around to see the final bell. Winner winner!
