Honda Classic 2nd Round Matchup [B]Mark Wilson +100[/B] vs. YE Yang Yang the defending Honda Classic Champion shot a +9 over par 79. He got off to a bad start, but there's more to the story. I follow several PGA Tour players via Twitter, no, I do not tweet, but on-line you can follow many athletes...this is what we have found: [I]Y.E. Yang mentioned on his Twitter page on Wednesday evening that he is playing with a muscle tear in his back. His exact Tweet was, " my back is hurting though - I have a back muscle tear right now - lots of thermapads and taping - and lots of massaging." Of course this isn't good news, but he's receiving treatment for it and there is no mention of a withdrawal. Considering Yang is the defending champion of The Honda Classic, expect him to tape the back up and play.[/I] So, Wilson didn't exactly tear up the course on Thursday either but the 2007 Champion is not a good wind player. Yang and Wilson are paired in the same group and will tee off early 7:53 am EST. We expect Wilson to play better and make a run at the cut, while Yang who has realistically no shot at the cut to take it easy and not strain his back.

I don't want to clutter but... After an eagle to put Wilson 2 up for a short moment... Yang has went birdie-birdie and par 2 holes from sand saves... Meanwhile Wilson just hit his approach on 6 in the water. We are now 2 back.

Yang bogeys 9... We are within 1. There is some good news. :) Arghhh.... Yang just holed a bunker shot laying 3 on the par 4 he scored a 9 on yesterday while we were lining up a 12 foot birdie attempt. Supposed to gain 2/3 strokes on that hole. Disgusting.
