Interesting horse @ Keeneland

Interesting horse @ Keeneland Heading into Saturday's 10th race @ Keeneland, i had an eye on #9 Philology, beacuse he had worked heads-up 3 out of his last 4 drills (and at two different tracks) with an unraced barnmate named Rampaige. In the race, Philology rallied strongly in the lane to take second, behind an impressive winner in Twinspired. So it looks like Rampaige will deserve a serious look when entered, which i'm guessing will be this coming week. Edit: Rampaige has been entered Thursday. No morning line yet. Incidentally, Philology was 10/1 on the morning line. Hopefully, Rampaige will be listed at a similar number.
he's 7/2 ML and a hot barn to boot...guessing he'll be 5/2 or 2/1 at post.
Hard to say without having looked at the race yet. I was told on HorseRacingTalk that there's a horse who ran second last time out, so hopefully that one will catch some money. I believe most of the others are first-timers as well.
Correct, you never know with first timers and there are a lot of (expensive) first timers in this race. I took a quick look and steady works + hot connnections + 7/2ML favorite = 5/2 or 2/1 odds at best (imo) and I wouldn't be shocked if he were odds-on. That said, he looks like the horse to beat me but not sure the value will be there.

Just got done going over the race. The only other horse that really sticks out to me is #11 Shadow Warrior (10/1 ml). Easily the best-bred horse in the race, being by AP Indy out of Victory Ride, who was a pretty solid stakes filly several years back. More importantly though, Shadow Warrior worked heads-up on Oct 10 with Cane Garden Bay, who came out of that drill to win for this trainer last Saturday. Prior to that, he also worked heads-up with Veiled Prophet, an older allowance winner who ran 4th in a graded stakes earlier this year. Might make for a nice exacta if they run in together.
curious...where do you get the workout info? is that on a clocker's report of some sort or is it confidential sources?

Rampaige wins @ $6.20 Regarding the workout info, I compile it myself. There are some clocker comments on the Keeneland website though, and Rampaige did get a mention last week. That might've contributed to the shortish ml, not sure.
