Islanders/Devils--Sat March 12 I have already placed a bet on the Islanders for the game Saturday night. The opening odds have the Devils as a 2:1 favourite for this game and I bet the puck line at +1.5-165.
The Devils are on a heckuva run the past 26 games (21-3-2) but the Islanders according to stats I saw written have the most points in the Eastern Conference (tied with Boston) since Dec. 16
with a record of 22-14-5.
Both teams are playing on a back to back with NJ beating Atlanta tonight in OT in Atlanta and the Islanders coming back and defeating Boston at home.
Both teams have minimal playoff hopes but yet each are batting hard. I don't think this line will last either even for hockey. I would really bet the Isles here up to +1.5-200. I think +150 ML is a reasonable bet here as well.
