LA OPEN (Northern Trust)

LA OPEN (Northern Trust) Frazar -145 over John Holmes. There will be no "Down Goes Frazar" this week. JB Holmes has been awesome at this event the past 4 years. He plays like he owns the course finishing not worse than 12th place. So why would I lay this kind of money for some has-been named Harrison Frazar to take him down this week? Well, JB had brain surgery just a few months ago, and since golf is played 90% beween the ears, this doesn't bode well for him. I also wasn't impressed with that nifty little 80 he signed for at Cypress last Saturday. I wish him all the best in his comeback attempt, but I'll keep going against him until he shows me something. Expect JB to slamming his trunk on Friday afternoon, and a nice, relaxing victory for Frazar. Take Frazar all the way up to -170. Baddeley (Even) over Scott - Bads finished 4th last week at Pebble, is defending Champeen at this event, and Scott hasn't hit a competitive shot in months. Pretty easy to do the math on this one. Take Bads up to -120. Cantlay -140 over A. Kim - You're probably thinking you "Can't Lay" -140 against a stud like Anthony Kim, can you? Well, the galleries are going to be calling "Cant-lay" "Can-lay" after he puts a whipping on AK this weekend. Cantlay is the best amateur in the world, and he was a perfect 5 for 5 making cuts last year, including 4 top 25's. Also, Cantlay goes to UCLA, so I am betting he has played this layout quite a few times. And lets face it, AK is a bum. Expect him to be slamming his trunk on Friday as well. Take Cantlay up to -170.
Thank You - 2 of 3 for $$
Thanks for the idea. I couldn't resist betting against AK and I'm the only guy who ever even considers betting on him. Cantlay must have underperformed hugely here since on Friday ESPN on my phone didn't have his score and it went down to a few of the guys who were cut. I knew I still had a chance of course since I didn't see AK either. This fading AK has been working for quite awhile it seems. Not many hiccups.
