-Playing at BYU for a team from Tennessee has to be a bit of
a culture change. Don't know where Murfreesboro is exactly but pretty
sure it is big departure from the norm in Mormon country. No distilleries
within driving distance of Provo. BYU is in a sandwich spot having played
Utah last week and getting Utah St next week. Don't think MTSU will
score much here as their strength (rushing) plays into BYUs.
Vs an underrated Memphis defense MTSU gained all of 60 yards on the ground.
175 Florida -11.5 @ Treasure Island
-Like this one a lot. With most of the market at 13/13.5 this is a line that
should be gone by lunch. The sharper shops are at 12/12.5 so may be a
well-place front run line but I hear enough support out there for Gators
that would take my chances that this line looks good at kickoff.
209 Arizona +3 @ MGM, HET, Jerrys, TI
-Certain these will all be gone before long so listing a game where the
line is available at number of shops. New TB QB Mike Glennon stands 6'7"
but had less then impressive stats in preseason and will take some
time to get in swing of things. This is also the usual series of events
that takes place before a coach gets the ax. Losses. Grumblings from players,
especially if the coach is the disciplinarian type. The media and fans getting
on his case. Next thing that happens is he tries to make moves to take the
heat off. Changes QBs. Sometimes an assistant gets the boot but in this case it sets
up for a firing if they look bad and lose to the Cardinals. With the bye coming next
week for the Bucs it makes as much sense as any to do it now because it sure
seems that it will happen at some point.
