Las Vegas restaurant suggestions
Wynn Steakhouse Wynn Okada Japanese Great ambiance facing waterfall and lake at both. Michael's at South Point has no view, is $$$$$, but is great. Hugo's is tough to beat! Eifel Tower Restaurant may be your best bet, great ambiance.
Thanks. I have eaten at Bartolotta at the Wynn, but never at the Steakhouse or Okada. Agree with you on the ambiance facing the lake. Will check out Michael's. Have eaten before at Eifel Tower, and love both the view and ambiance. Excellent service too. Hugo's is a long-time favorite, and we especially enjoy the wine sommelier who has been there a long time.
Off-Strip, Rosemary's on W. Sahara. Eiffel Tower at Paris spectacular ambience.
Have heard good things about Rosemary's before, but have never been there. Will check it out. Hard to beat that ambience and view from Eifel Tower, looking out over the strip toward the Bellagio and the fountains. Thanks.
Andre's at Monte Carlo is wonderful. Their fois grois is out of sight!
Off-Strip, Rosemary's on W. Sahara. Eiffel Tower at Paris spectacular ambience.
Rosemary's is great but not a 30th Anniversary type restaurant. If you are not a Vegas regular take her somewhere with an only in Vegas experience like the Top the World, The Eiffel Tower or Alize’. I have been to all three for special occasions and have enjoyed each of them. Unless you are a extremely high end food snob you will find items you love and they all have fantastic views of the Las Vegas lights. If you do the 4 course dinner with the wine flight at the Top of the World you can get out for just over $200.
Stanford Wong loves Top of The World at Strat I was shocked. Big events dinners in slums not my kind of thing.
We went to Eiffel Tower for our anniversary a few years ago. The wife to this day still talks about it. We ate at Rosemary's when they were also at the Rio, felt it was overrated. We really did enjoy the Top of the World, not the best in town but it did exceed our expectations. I didn't realize the restaurant rotated and I lost my sunglasses as I had set them on the edge next to the window.

Kruger took the news pretty hard and ran off into the night into Naked City. Days later Kruger re-appeared...:o
