This is where I disclosed to Kruger that Texas is looking to pull from Big 12 in order to play in the Pac 10 where the real athletes play. :o
Flipper, I wouldn't be surprised to see Texas leave the Big 12. At least now they will be able to win a conference basketball title. jk

If they couldn't win a B12 hoops championship against teams like the jayhawks, they certainly won't stand a chance against the POWERFUL Pac 10 (where basketball is religion). :p
This is brutal, the question is about LV eateries and my esteemed colleagues JK and Flipper turn the conversation from culinary delights to bashing the Longhorns and poking fun at the lack of Big XII hoops hardware adorning the hallways of the Erwin Center. The Dude, can I get some help? Every dial I turn and every screen I gaze, friends and foes alike are trashing the Horns, blaming them for everything from global warming-to-child slavery-to-Jesse James' bedroom missteps-to-the pending massive realignment of the major conferences. If not you and I, then who should stand firm for all that is right in intercollegiate athletics? We must take a stand before the holy land known as Austin even becomes a target for those who would like to see us fall. Long live the 'Horns, Paul

Long live the 'Horns, Paul
Flipper is just jealous ...and I would lay -180 with the Big 12 vs the Pac-10 this year in hoops. He truly wants to be a Horn :) and this is why he talks so much smack. Flipper, pick a team...is it USC or UCLA? You can't have them all and then hand select one each year...LOL.
My wife and I will be in Las Vegas to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We'll be staying at the Mirage, but willing to travel anywhere in the city for a good dinner. Any suggestions?
For those who care, our anniversary was yesterday and we chose to dine at the Eiffel Tower. Got a table looking out over the Strip and the lake in front of Bellagio. Beautiful evening watching the sunset and the moon appearing over Bellagio. Excellent food (pheasant for me), excellent wine and outstanding service.
Good choice! I am happy that it worked out well for you and your wife! Happy Anniversary! Jim
