Lebedev vs Jones Jr. (5/21) I really wonder how much money Jones Jr. is getting for this fight. I heard that Holyfield got about half a million for his joke of a fight. I'd think that he's getting at least 250,000. Unless he was a complete idiot, I think that Jones has plenty of money. I know he loves the attention, but he really isn't getting a lot of it here in the USA, as this fight is in Russia.
All that being said, Jones should be a bigger under dog in this fight. Lebedev, isn't fast, isn't flashing but he's relentless and has very good power. I don't think this ends well for my favorite boxer of all time.
I just don't think that RJJ can outbox Lebedev for 12 rounds. Lebedev will get the stoppage at some point and likely early in the fight. Roy doesn't have the fire anymore, and he's been inactive for more then a year as well.
