Marquez vs. Katsidis (11/27) Juan Manuel Marquez has been the one of the best counter punchers over the last decade. Katsidis is an in your face brawler. Neither fighter hardly ever puts on a poor show.
Marquez recently beat Juan Diaz in a rematch. He failed to push the fight and had to "settle" for a wide unanimous decision. (we had the under in that fight)
Katsidis is recently off his destruction of undefeated but untested Keven Mitchell.
This probably ends up being Katsidis chasing Marquez around the ring, as Marquez throws his highly accurate counter punches.
My feeling is that At 37 Marquez is starting to fade a bit. He hasn't had an easy fight in 4 years. It would seem that Katsidis is tailor made for Marquez. I just think that the aggression of Katsidis will force Marquez to fight and I'm not sure he can handle that anymore.
I think that Marquez is ready to be had, and that Katsidis may have improved enough over the last few years to be the guy that beats Marquez at 130 pounds.
