Masters 2nd round Matchups I bet YE Yang +135 at 5 Dimes over Charl Schwartzel. I didn't see this at Pinnacle so I doubt it is a matchup everywhere. They moved it to +120 but Alf and the Dude probably could probably straighten me out but why the hell is this guy favoured over YE Yang?
Every time I see Yang he actually hits the ball pretty far, does well under pressure, makes a bunch of putts and cashes cheques for half a million dollars. He won the PGA a few years ago.
Yang is within 2 of the lead and shot better than Schwartzel in the 1st round. I know this guy is good but doesn't Yang deserve some respect to not be an underdog in this and at least be a coin flip?
Some further thoughts on a few of these matchups I see at 5 Dimes which I haven't bet but want to.
Atwal vs. Stadler
Alf totally called this. Crenshaw beat him in the first round at least 80-78. Now he's up against Stadler and Atwal is -125 which is lower than the -160 he was vs. Crenshaw for the tournament. Stadler shot 80. If Atwal can't beat Stadler tomorrow he should be be humiliated. He's got have a fighing chance against Crenshaw.
Bill Haas vs. Harrington
Harrington has a bad neck and it effected his round today. Harrington is +115. I would bet Harrington if I could get another 20 cents on this at +135.
Bohn vs. Barnes
I saw Alf didn't like Barnes game and had a play on him not to make the cut and he threw a wrench into it Barnes with a good round today to likely make the cut. But a decent way to stay on Barnes playing poorly is this matchup with Bohn. Bohn is +158 against Barnes. 5 Dimes probably like me is wondering who the hell is Bohn and how did he pull off getting into the Masters.
Tiger vs. Graeme
I just don't get excited about Tiger right now. Graeme is +160 it just seems ridiculous. I know Graeme has faded the past few weeks and I suppose we're all waiting for the Tiger 65 and he might do it. But this line just seems to assume that Tiger will shoot a 70 or better and Graeme will keep plodding along and fire a 73 or something. Probably all true but it just seems I have a pretty good player who could shoot 70 here against a guy who could shoot 73 and I'm getting +160.
