Masters Matchups Monday Steve Stricker -125 vs. Paul Casey
Stricker was T6 last year at the Masters, his best finish there.
But this is a go against Casey bet who WD with a left shoulder injury just prior to the start of the Shell Houston Open. Here are his words, "the muscles around it have locked up, and I'm not able to get the club into position I need to be to swing it properly and hit the golf ball.
I tried to play yesterday, but it is what it is, and I'm disappointed not to be going out there and playing today. But I've got to worry about the rest of the season.
After last year's experience trying to play through an injury, I tried to do that one, two weeks... it ended up costing me six months."
Retief Goosen -125 vs. Paul Casey
The Goose is one of the Top 5 favorites this week, he is in good form and his putting right now is as good as it gets. Yes, Casey has fared well at the Masters L3Y but we know this guy, he is a big wimp and when push comes to shove he thinks about his career.
Tim Clark -110 vs. Lucas Glover
If it doesn't rain or the course remains hard and fast look for the Penguin on the leader-board. As we saw in 2007 when Zach Johnson stole the Green Jacket, the short hitters will come into play by getting extra roll. Glover has not qualified for the Masters the past two seasons and lately he has not driven the ball well which is usually his forte. He has finishes of 55,25,56 and a missed cut in his L4 starts on the PGA Tour.
