Maykoba Classic

Maykoba Classic This is a regular PGA Tour sanctioned event going on at the same time as the WGC Matchplay. The Maykoba Classic is held at the Riviera Maya-Cancun at El Camaleon Golf Club in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. I never been there, seen the event on the tube, and what I have noticed over the years that it is a solid track with a premium on ball striking. In other words if you spray it all over the course you will be penalized. [B]David Duval -125[/B] vs. Briny Baird Baird has done nothing to impress me this season. But, Duval certainly has. If Dustin Johnson doesn't birdie the last hole at Pebble last week, Duval is in a 3-way playoff, with DJ and JB Holmes, AND I would have bet on Duval. He is swinging very well, as well as he has in 7 years. The putter is hot but his ball striking was dead on last week.
