Since someone commented on the fight, I'll get a prediction thread out.
I really don't see this fight being all that difficult for Mayweather. If Mayweather had fought Mosley 4 years ago, I think Mosley may have won but he's now 38 and has become a one dimensional fighter. A KO fighter. Although Mosley looked great against Margarito I think he now can only shine against fighters that are hittable.
Mayweather is simply the best defensive fighter in the last 10-20 years. He is a master of the hit and not be hit fight school. Many find his fights boring, and they can be, but they aren't often close fights as he's usually dominating his opponent.
Mosley's bet shot in this fight is to go for the early KO. Mosley still has a lot of power, but translating that power to Mayweather's face is nearly impossible. Mayweather just doesn't get hit all that often.
So by a wide UD (unanimous decision) I'm going with Mayweather.
The bet.
Mayweather -450.
9 units to win 2
119-109, 119-109, 118-110
In the second round Mosley actually buzzed Mayweather and it looked to be a fight. Then Money Mayweather does what he does and dominates the rest of the fight. Mayweather's defense is simply unrivaled. Mayweather really isn't all that exciting to watch if you are an average fan, but for boxing aficionados, he is an absolute master. He is simply the best boxer out there.
I've never seen Mosley look so bad for much of the fight. Age may have played a factor but I just think it was Mayweather being the far superior fighter.
The bet was 9 units to win 2 and we certainly won.
All you need to read was my first line in my original post.
