Miranda vs. Mepranum I won't waste my time trying to explain these two B level fighters. It isn't worth my brain cells and you'll probably never hear of these guys again. That being said, we may have a play on this fight. One of the deans of boxing predictions has come out on Mepranum and I think its a mistake. He is usually on the right side of fights and his analysis of all fights but primarily of fighters that are off the radar is excellent.
Miranda is favored but the number has been coming down. The "smart" money may be moving to Mepranum.
I could be wrong, and Mepranum is a very slick fighter, but Miranda is at home and I think that moves the edge to him. He's very heavy handed but can be made to look bad by very good boxers of which we should include Mepranum. Like I said, the home court advantage may play a roll in this fight. Mepranum has little to no power and that will not play well in Mexico even if Pacquiao is sitting ring side as rumored.
