Nets @ Heat Game 5 This series has been very predictable which is good for betting.
Game one and two at Miami the Heat hold serve and get to 2-0.
Token win by Nets in game 3 in the good spot as they shot the lights out
from downtown. That success from three-point range just confirmed that
the Nets have to up the variance and run good doing it to beat this team.
Heat wins game 3 and now the series is over. They just have to play it out.
With the opportunity to finish the series and get some rest I fully expect the
Heat to take care of business and get the W. Do believe that the money lines
are the way to go in many of these situations. Last night at OKC the money line
got there with some luck but the price was cheap (as low as -200 in LV)
and the spot was great. Game 6 in L.A. looks like another good spot and
the money line will probably be a good deal there too. Tonight though,
the Heat should end the series. How one bets it is a choice that may
not be easy. The money line on Heat is not cheap so some alternative lines
or a good teaser shop (5 Dimes is the best) may be the cheapest way
to get at a straight up W on Miami.
On the props, betting the Nets players UN on number of FTs made has
been strong. Heat are getting things done without fouling. Just 17,14,17
attempts the first three games for the Nets. Game four was competitive
and LeBron got an uncharacteristic 5 fouls as the Nets had 28 attempts.
Think game 5 reverts more to how games 1-3 went and the Heat stay
a lot more clean on the fouling. Pierce UN 4 made FTs has been the best
player to target. They may put up a 3.5 tonight which is a big difference
but still think it's bet worthy at +100 or better.
