Gun to head would have to tease NE. Hou @ Bal -Hou 450 ypg on Off and allows 255 ypg on Def. Big discrepancy but their 1H/2H splits are extreme as well. Balt feeling disrespected as home dog plus have last years woodshed job at Hou to atone for. StL @ Dall -3.5 -Line has been dropping. No one trusts Cowboys as fave at home. Romo and Dez nursing injuries. Ari @ NO -7 -Saints at home have won last 9 under coach Payton. Cards skill players Mendenhall and Fitz both listed as questionable but will play. Teasing Saints will be huge public play. Det @ Wash +1 -Bush is out, Bell will fill-in but line keeps moving Lions way ON ROAD. Circle the wagons time for Redskins. If they can't win vs this team, in this spot, at this venue, then all hope is lost for season. I'm huge on Wash teasers today. GB @ Cin +3 -Is 3 enough to draw action on Bengals? Two highly regarded rookie backs in Lacy and Bernard both listed as less than healthy. Bernard will play, Lacy most likely won't. Bernard is the one with bigger upside and think he has big game today. NYG @ Car +2 - Fave has shifted on this one. Car Def depleted due to inj. Giants turning ball over at record pace. If they can avoid those they should be fine. Some bad decisions coupled with some bad luck have led them to 0-2. Car ineffective on Off has put them at 0-2. Total has been bet up from 45 to 47. Atl @ Mia -2.5 -Not the role Miami excels in. Dog on road they are money. Fave at home they burn money. Falcon health is fueling most of the Fins bets but Tannehill has some kind of shoulder issue and could be one good shot away from a problem. Ind @ SF -10 -All is not right in San Fran. Blasted at Sea and not 100% health wise. V Davis and DB E Reid both have issues. Aldon Smith may have another type of issue but he will play. Colts down on def with LB Angerer and DB Landry both OUT. Total rising. Jax @ Sea -Teams getting 17 or more are 27-1 ATS. That still may not be convincing enough for public to back these Jags. Can Jax score 10 in Sea? Line on team total is 10.5. Sea has held 7 of last 9 visitors to 13 or less. Buf @ NYJ -2.5 -Jets allowing 241 ypg on Def. A few extra days of prep for a Def that can be tough on young QBs.
