Tough to go against the Caps, but I think Atlanta could be a sleeper this year and has a lot to prove. The Thrashers should now be called "Blackhawks South". They added four players from the Stanley Cup champs (Dustin "Big Buff" Byfuglien, Brent Sopel and Ben Eager were traded there b/c the Hawks had to cut cap costs and Andrew Ladd also got traded there since he would have gotten big dollars in free agency). Ladd is a real up and comer. They went winless in the preseason so that gives value against the Eastern Conf favs (as usual) the Caps.
