NHL for Tuesday night-Early Lines I placed a bet on Florida tomorrow night vs. Winnipeg. I'd consider betting Winnipeg tomorrow but I bet Florida puck line at Pinnacle where it is +1.5-205. They still have it I didn't bet a whole bunch of it although I think this will be a scalpable bet. The moneyline is +147 which also I think will be scalpable by game time at vs. certain books.
Although it has been discussed Winnipeg is a strong home team this line is crazy IMO with Winnipeg at -160. Florida is the defending division champion and have won a couple of games in a row now. They did beat Winnipeg LW in a good spot and it is honestly not even a factor IMO. The teams are way closer I think in power rating than this line reflects. Regarding injuries Florida has back Weiss who has been out and is in their top 6 forwards. Versteeg also back probably in their top 6 forwards as well. While Winnipeg might not have Byfuiglen back their top offensive D man.
Winnipeg has lost 3 in a row but Florida needs the points as well. It is a division game and it seems they might play another close game. I might favour Winnipeg -125 myself at home but I'll add a little more since they will be a rested home team as I think off for 3 nights so should have been back in Winnipeg for a few days of practice. I'll call it -135 to be imperfectly precise. It is just not enough of a disadvantage coming from a day game in Buffalo for Florida and then having tonight off. Winnipeg will likely have better spots than this to really ramp up their home ice. The entire edge for this game is home ice nothing else I'm being generous I think.
