Watch the number of penalties during the first week, especially if scoring ends up down. If the NHL sees falling attendance because of disgruntled fans and/or lower scoring, you could see a tighter game called to get the scoring up.

Over 14-11-1 thru three days... Power play opportunities are up by 2 chances per game on average.
