NHL Monday- First off I want to say kudos to the Atlantis for offering a dime line in NHL up on Reno. I think maybe LVH is the only other one I know offering that in Nevada. They'll also have an 8 cent line for baseball if history unfolds again the same way.
Survived last week a few winners and a few losers. There is one really good day for the dogs although I never wrote about any of the bets but I think it may been last Wednesday or Thursday. IMO there is just great value on dogs right now. Larry K whacked in Detroit last night I saw. Great call carrying their momentum from Saturday. The Avs lost for me Saturday but at least they caught the puck line Sunday. Rick J a tough loss with Winnipeg on Saturday but a solid bet and they responded as a fat dog on Sunday vs. Devils.
Tonight, I liked all the dogs on value. Not enough to may a play and write about it but thought the first 2 games that went were around 10 cents too high on the favourite.
Dallas has been really solid this year especially since Benn has been playing. Nashville I like at home more than most but could easily be another close game. No call for me but I thought that line is a dime too high. In fact those in Nevada can play Dallas +1.5-220 at some stale book that is a nice bet.
Kings over Ducks that is almost -150 on the Kings. The Ducks are 13-2-1. Kings are really picking up their momentum but if it is back to back the reason for that price I think it is a poor read. Anaheim had 4 days off just got their legs and came back and won. I might not even bet this but I think this line is a dime too high and maybe 15 cents. If I could find a good number on this I'd bet it.
And then the big game--I guess Hawks vs. Oilers. I've layed off fading the Hawks but a few times I've been against them in the past week they've played to one goal games so a puck line bet has held. I should have bet Columbus on the PL yesterday. They're going closer to losing. LOL.
I think they have a shot to lose tonight. Chicago has traditionally struggled vs. Edmonton recently and actually over the history of the Oilers I think especially when Oilers were champions. I don't believe in this stuff but young Oilers probably know there is a history between the franchises. The Blackhawks are getting good goaltending but Emery and Crawford aren't really that good. The Oilers are embarking on a 9 game road trip might define their whole season. They'll probably lose a few of these on the road for sure but it sure would be nice to get a win at the start. I thnk if they can jump on the Hawks for a goal early maybe they can get the Hawks tonight. I'm sure they will be focused. They have a rookie coach and they are a young team would love to knock off the Hawks. Offshore best priced and I have a combo bet some PL and ML on the Oilers.
Good luck whatever you're doing tonight.
