NHL Playoffs Bruins vs. Capitals Game #7 One bet I'm surprised that has lasted this long is the ML or PL bet on the Capitals. MGM had +1.5-165 on this game on the Caps and most places are +1.5-170. Even Pinnacle +1.5-173 only. I don't think this will last much longer. I played the MGM number but they didn't move it. The books out here are closed so if one is interested they might have to act fast tomorrow morning if I'm correct. If online I would bet a +1.5-170 that is around. The game is now +1.5-200 at Bet Cris and even Sportsinteraction has that number. In this case I think they're the sharp betting.
Each game has been a one goal game and it is the first series to ever have that occur through 6 games. These are plays that are tough to do because it is not so much I'm handicapping the Capitals but they can't be this much of a dog at this point in the series can they? They've already won twice in Boston in this series and two other times in the regular season I think.
The Caps are an extremely hungry franchise with limited playoff success over the years and I'm sure they'll be very motivated. The Bruins are the champs and on home ice and I'm sure will be tough to beat in a closeout game but +170 on the ML just seems sky high.
It is not an exact comparison but the Rangers are less of a favourite over Ottawa and they're the #1 seed playing the #8 seed. Now Ottawa has been very impressive but I don't know if they've been any better than Washington. The Ottawa game is favoured to be a lower scoring game than the Washington game so we can't directly compare the goal lines without an adjustment but I'm going to forecast there will at least be a move on Washington sometime before this game and I think Pinnacle will at least deal this game at +1.5-190 at some point tomorrow---IMO.
From a handicapping perspective though here are 2 scenarios in my head:
(1) Similar game as the others. Maybe the Caps. Probably don't. Hopefully catch the puck line.
(2) Caps blew their chance at home. Get overwhelmed by the Bruins early and finally we hit a blowout and you don't cash anything on the Caps.
