NHL Thurs 10/14

NHL Thurs 10/14 3-0 last night. 12-5 Season; +9.9 55 St. Louis (+100) Nashville put a ton of effort and focus into their revenge spot at Chicago last night. They will be dead for this one.
52 Philadelphia (-1') (+170) Tampa had to lay it all on the line in their comeback in Montreal last night. They trailed virtually the whole game and didn't lead until the GW late in OT. Flyers have been off since Monday night. 60 Minnesota (-142) A rare favorite play for me. You don't make money betting hockey by taking favs, but I like this one. Minnesota back from their Finland trip hasn't played since last Friday (they only picked up a point in that series). Edmonton is going to be fun to watch and they are super young and talented. I don't know if they are ready to win on the road. They will be erratic like all young teams. They will beat teams they shouldn't and then lose to teams they should or could realistically beat.
Also keeping an eye on Detroit at Dallas. Longtime face of the Stars franchise Mike Modano returns to Dallas as a member of the Wings. All the Stars players love him and didn't want to see him go. Modano wanted to retire a Star. Dallas got rid of him and wanted to move on. He had a chance to go for a Cup at the end of his career and signed with the Wings. Early movement for Dallas here, but I'm still evaluating this one.
Philadelphia -1 (+170) ??? Where did you find that line?? Did you mean -1.5?? 58 Dallas (+105) Mike Modano returns to Dallas where he was the face of the franchise for 16 years and won a Cup back in 1999. Dallas players didn't want to see him go, but I think they will be motivated to show they are a good young team without him. Red Wings defense is not playing that well and got exploited by Colorado the other night.
