NHL Tonight Predators/Blackhawks

NHL Tonight Predators/Blackhawks I got thumped betting against the Hawks earlier this week for the whole board to see when the Coyotes laid an egg. The Hawks are now 9-0-2. It is hard to pull the trigger on these bets but I have to go with Nashville on home ice tonight. They started their backup Mason last night and got a point vs. Minnesota but will have Rinne back in goal. He's a top goalie and playing very well right now. Nashville has a good run themselves of collecting points in games. Can't love the back to back for them but at least the top goalie gets the start rested. It is a fact that Chicago gets more respect on the line from the year they won the Cup and now not losing in regulation it is more heightened. Nashville the past few years very tough in their own building, well coached, keep games close and have had success vs. Chicago winning 4 of 6 last year. Chicago at the end of a road trip I'd like to think the streak ends so I'll play some Nashville moneyline combined with Nashville puck line. At the sharpest books Nashville is a dog as high as +115-+120 and really that is the number the play is really good at. At +105 or some Nevada numbers I'd have to drop my size of bet as that price is just cheating yourself a bit. Maybe the Hawks are a juggernaut got to swing against them at as good as you can. If Chicago does get by here, they play Anaheim Tuesday and we know they're a tough squad coming through last night at a big dog vs. St. Louis. But Larry K wasn't surprised by that and neither was I. I hope it doesn't get to that and Nashville takes care of business tonight.
We saw Florida at the end of a 2-0-1 trip get smashed 5-0. Perhaps for that team they were already fat and happy. I guess the question is whether Chicago has the mettle to overcome this. I passed on this one, FWIW. Your train of thought is reasonable, however.
